Biocap High Speed 96 Screw Top Decapper/Recapper

  • BioCap-96 Bench top decapper for 96-format Screw Top Micro tubes. (BioCap-96I Integration version for automated systems).

  • Biocap-8 automates the decapping and recapping process for one column (8 tubes) at a time, from row 1 to row 12. By decapping one column at a time contact with the atmosphere and the danger for contamination are minimized.

  • Able to work with external or internal thread tubes.

A compact, high-speed whole rack Tube De-capper that can automatically remove and re-cap screw top caps from a full or partial tube rack. The Biocap De-capper can be used as a stand alone system using the simple to operate membrane key pad.

The Biocap De-capper eliminates the need to manually remove the caps from microtubes and cryovials, dramatically improving productivity and reducing the risk of cross contamination and repetitive strain injury.

The compact De-capper includes the ability to dispose the caps or re cap the same caps back into the same tubes eliminating the need to manually re cap after the tubes have been sampled. The Biocap De-capper requires only a mains power source for operation and fits easily within a Class II or Laminar Flow Cabinet.
