BioFill Vial Filler and Capper

The BioFill is an automated platform for dispensing liquids into screw-cap vials in combination with automated decapping and recapping. The BioFill is based on automatically decapping, dispensing cell suspensions and other liquids into the micro-tubes and recapping the tubes in a 96 rack SBS-1 foot print.

The BioFill can also be ordered as an integrated solution with a Biostack and BioTrack. This will allow walkaway processing for multiple vial racks, and even potential integration into larger automated workcells.

The BioFill can also be integrated with the BioLabel tube-labeling system from Biosero, providing a complete filling/capping/bar code labeling solution.

 
  • Decapping, dispensing and recapping one column (8 tubes) at a time re-using the old caps.
  • Decapping, dispensing and recapping one column ( 8 tubes) at a time, but with waste of old caps and recapping with new caps from cap storage.
  • Use the combination decapper/recapper and dispenser unit for decapping, dispensing and recapping - as stand alone system.
  • Use the combination decapper/recapper and dispenser unit for decapping, dispensing and recapping - integrated in a robotic bench with e.g. stackers.
  • Use the decapper/recapper alone as 96 tubes decapper/recapper.
  • Compatible with all Tube Types: Nunc, Matrix, Micronic, MatriCal, Abgene, REMP.
  • Easy operator interface simplifies training.
  • Minimum distance between the decapper/recapper part and dispensing point.
The dispensing unit is provided with microprocessor controlled 8-channel precision peristaltic pump with 3-stop tubes. Dispensing volume is set via finger touch control panel or operation via PC .

Important-by dispensing only 1 open column at the time sample contact with the atmosphere and the danger for contamination is minimized.

The BioFill is easy to operate and fits within a culture cabinet or Class II hood.
