Ultrasonic TipWasher

The TipWash uses ultrasonic power for the most efficient cleaning of both plastic disposable pipette tips and fixed metal tips. Reduce carryover by up to 10,000 fold. Reduce consumption of disposable pipette tips. Works with any automated liquid handling system. The bath has a volume of 140 ml. The TipWash system from Biosero includes: Sonication bath and power supply. Dual peristaltic pumps. Control interface.

The TipWash station is the same footprint as a standard microplate, allowing it to be easily adapted to automated liquid handler decks.

Two peristaltic pumps are connected to the sonicator station - one for filling with wash liquid and one for draining. A remote control system is used to automatically fill the batch and then turn on the sonicator for a preset time to wash the tips. After washing the bath is quickly drained. The fill/drain process can be repeated several times for maximum cleaning performance and reduction of carryover.
