The xnp-100 and 1000 offer a combination of innovative liquid options from a nano-pipettor capable of aspirating and dispensing volumes as low as 30nl to a reagent dispense module pipetting up to 1000ul.
Uniquely these modules are available as a combination head enabling many applications that would previously have required either a serial dilution or a two step process to be completed in a single step.
The nano-dispenser, the reagent dispenser and the combination head are available in single and 8 channel options.

Two platforms:

Pipetting Flexibility

Syringe pipettor

Based on a well-proven design the syringe pipettor module can aspirate and dispense volumes in the range of 1μL to 5000μL. A dual syringe option can be specified enabling a wider volume range and one-step dilution.

The unit is available either as a fixed stainless steel tip or with a disposable tip utilising either 200ul or 1000ul tips. If the disposable tip option is selected the unit is also supplied with a tip removal device enabling the system to automatically change tips between samples.

The excellent accuracy and precision of this module make it ideal for handling wide variety of liquid-handling application such as sample preparation, transfer, dilution and cherry picking. It is also the module of choice for the PCR set-up application described.

Nano Pipettor

The nano-pipetting module can dispense volumes as low as 30nl. More than just a dispenser the module can aspirate and dispense enabling true sample transfer in the nano-litre range.

With an upper limit of 350ul the unit can be used for routine applications in 96, 384, 1536 and 3456 well plates. The nano dispenser is available as a single or 8 channel unit (with 9.00mm spacing between nozzles) and is ideal for sample transfer, generating parallel dilution series or even performing array printing.

Reagent Dispenser

The reagent dispenser brings a new level of flexibility to addition of reagent or diluent; this dispense-only module is capable of delivering as many as four separate reagents from independent reagent reservoirs. This module is ideal for fast and reliable dispensing of liquids from1μL to 1000μL. Used in conjunction with the nanodispenser it provides a one-step method of achieving dilutions of up to 1-in-10,000 dilution in a 96 well plate or a 1-in-3,000 dilution in a 384 well plate. The reagent dispenser is available as a single or 8 channel unit (with 9.00mm spacing between nozzles).

Dual Head

The dual head is a unique combination of any two of the liquid handling modules. This single, or
eight-channel module allows for nano-litre pipetting and bulk reagent or diluent addition from a single head. The pictures show both the single and eight channel versions of the unit showing (1) the nano-pipettor and (2) the bulk dispenser.
