The xtr-96Q Mega Rack™ 2D tube reader enables easy tracking of samples during use of the Qiagen BioRobot Universal™ System, which provides automated purification of total DNA from a range of forensic casework samples.

• Reduce the errors that occur during the initial transfer of sample from original sample or swab tube into the DNA extraction tube .
• Eliminate errors caused by putting tubes in the wrong rack locations (transposition errors).
• Eliminate data transfer errors (translation errors). The data is input directly into the BioRobot™ System from the xtr-96Q™ reader, re-typing is not required.
